Hit the Deck VP911

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VP 9.x Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas, Eala Dubh Sidhe

Description:
Based on the table by Gottlieb from 1978
Thanks to Eala Dubh Sidhe for letting me use his script. I just added the extra subs for the VP9 tables, like the flippers, nudge, some animations, etc.

Also thanks to José who suggested this table.

This is an EM table, so don't look for ROMS smile.gif

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Fun and colourful table. Thanks for the upload JP. Nice that you still give the EMs some attention. I like the buzz of the flippers smile.gif

I was wondering though, are the flippersettings accurate? Most flippers of EMs I have played are not as strong, have a sorta delay feeling and have a lower angle.

Some, not most. Never a delay though.

Okay, I' ll take your word for it wink.gif I played a couple of real EMs some weeks ago and that was basically my impression.
I am in no way an expert on the subject though and was just wondering the flippersetting was based on the real table.

Should play like any other system 1 gottlieb, flippers were strong on them.
From memory, it is one of the EMs that they did at the end of the run.

Nice VP9 conversion JP. Great EM table.

Speaking about the flippers: they are made with dropwalls, and as you all may know you can't have dropwalls on top of dropwalls or on top of flippers. So there is a little redraw error when the ball is in contact with the flipper. But I thought to keep the flippers this way they look closer to a Gottlieb flipper of that era smile.gif

I had noticed this little bug when the ball was on the flippers.
it's not too important.the table is really nice.

A huge improvement over my old version, I have to say. The nudge and counternudge seem a little excessive, but I love the way it works.

About the flipper redraw error: read a few posts up smile.gif

Yes, the counterforce needs to be tweaked a little smile.gif Any suggestions? smile.gif
