These table designers spend countless hours of their own time and talent creating these tables and are generous to share their work for all of us to enjoy. If you don't care for a table, keep your unconstructive negative comments to yourself. The last thing we need is for guys like JP to say "screw it, I'll keep my work for myself."

I don't like that comment either. But at the same time, let people share their opinions, people are allowed to not like things. Not every comment needs to be blowing sunshine up somebody's ass:) If JP or Grizz couldn't handle an occasional negative comment, then I don't think they would be interested in sharing art at all. This is part of sharing art. In fact, if I share a piece of art & don't get 1 piece of criticism, I think I must of done something wrong!

Again, I do NOT condone it, but I don't like seeing a bunch of other people trying to apologize for it either. All you are doing is bringing more attention to the negative comments. If you don't agree with them, just pass over it & ignore it, IMHO. As for me, of course I've always loved what JP & others have done with TOTAN over the years. The table has seen a zillion revisions & versions, so its kinda interesting to see a new spin on it.
I like the art. Yeah I know its not an accurate recreation, so I'll just likely file it as an original table.
It is definitely very pretty, very interesting what Grizz was able to do with all the colors!

Saying one doesn't appreciate the color scheme, that's cool. Indicating the title should state its F-up'ed, that is not cool Rob, nor should have a place in our community.

Thanks for all the nice comments and for the no so nice comments! :)
I think all the comments are welcome, do you remember Groni's comments on some of my tables. We are actually good friends, I help him all the time when he ask me, but he also was quite harsh on his comments :) Well, my philosophy is "if you don't like... don't eat it", and "enhanced" with "...don't even buy it!":) hahaha... hey... wait... it is free!

Ah, and it was good, Grizz, that we didn't change the blue genie with a purple genie ;)

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

No disrespect; JP's tables are the best, he is the master, no discussion.

But this "enhancement" is only making the emulation less accurate.
The artwork from a real table doesn't need any enhancement in general and certainly no enhancements like this.

There is no point in commenting if everyone is only licking JP's a$$.

Most of JP's stuff is great, this one isn't ... as simple as that.
So no "thank you" this time, the message I hope to get across is "please don't waste your precious time like this again".

PS.
The fact this is "free" software and if I myself am able to do any better enhancements is irrelevant.
This discussion is about "Tales of the Arabian Nights VP912FS Enhanced", not about pricing or talents of others.

A purple genie would have been nice. Together with a red Goldlamp. ;)

No really, the mod was done nicely ( :dblthumb:), it's just not for me, because i prefer recreations to look as near to the original as possible.

Come to think of it, the ultimate disrespect for JP are those ass-kissers who are afraid they won't be getting free stuff anymore when someone else has some critisism.

How selfish can one be; apologizing when others state their opinion, just to keep getting free stuff.
Pathetic.

This is a graphics mod and IMHO should be called that.

No blonde arabian girl with makeup and yellow ruby for me, thanks.

Ruby & sapphire are both cristalized aluminium oxyde, colored by different metals.

A yellow ruby would be a paparadsha sapphire, the rarest, most valuable & sought after of all, with color ranging from yellow to pink. I like !

A yellow ruby would be a paparadsha sapphire [...]

So a yellow ruby is not a ruby, Thanks, that's what i implied. ;)

(The table has a voice sample saying "my ruby is yours". When it's lit, the next "make-a-wish" will reward two jewels.)

Mmmmm I thought it was a swedish blonde in a costume

I bet she's part of the Swedish Bikini Team. ;)
I wonder why Grizz didn't enlarge her breasts then.

Well, I put this on the cabinet to give the new graphics a try.
Wow, bright.
I only played one game but it was a long one. I beat the entire game.
Well, I saved the princess, defeated the skeletons, then barely lost to the Genie in the final battle. 76 Million.
It was fun, but back to my regularly scheduled TOTAN graphics for me. :)

Works perfectly on my cab. I love that I now can finally see what I'm doing and where all things are. No offence to the other versions.
