File Name: Nitro Ground Shaker (Bally 1980)

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 30 Jun 2018

File Category: VPX/VPinMAME Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1980
ROM: Link to ROM
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

Based on the Bally table from 1980.
Thanks to Carlos Guizzo for the images of the real table.
Playfield and plastics redrawn by me in full glorious 4k :)

This version 4 of the table needed some extra work :)

There are three player options at the top of script. You don't need to change them, but if you prefer a closer version to the real table then you may set those options to False.
The options are all set to True, and they are:

Const Digits7 = True       'set it to False if you prefer 6 digits as the original machine
Const FlipperPeg = True    'set it to False if you do not want the ball saver peg
Const FlippersDecor = True 'set it to False if you do not want decorations on the flippers

The rom names are:
"ngndshkb"  7 Digit ROM
"ngndshkr"  6 Digit ROM - original

And remember to press F6 to set the ROM options, at least you need the Match Feature and the Credits display visible.

Enjoy!

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Thanks JP ! Another cool table, fond memories of this one, at the local camping grounds there was an outbuilding that would sell drinks & snacks AND had this pin sitting in the shop.

Played it for hours and hours, and best of all: it was a magnet to the local girls, i often felt like the stuntmen in the theme  :8):

Hahahaha, well Guizzo, Rizzo, almost the same, but not the same :)

I have also changed the name in the credits in the vpx table. The table is the same :)

It shows JP ! A great recreation and thank you for the explicit recommendation to change to background sound on this table.

It is not all table where enabling it adds as much as for this one.

Thanks for another fun game. Some of the sounds remind me of the old Atari Missile Command arcade game.
