Note: Pick VPX72setup.zip if you're not sure which one to download, as this is the latest one.
All-in-one (almost) installer (VPX10.7.2, VP9.9.5b, VP9.9PM5(updated Plunger/Accel/Surround MOD)b, VP9.2.1, VP8, VPM3.5, DMDext, FlexDMD, X/UltraDMD, B2S, Core.vbs scripts). Open the zip, run the .exe, enjoy.

Played around for 40 minutes or so testing all my favorite VPX tables from the old version as well as some of the newer Beta version ones I had issues with. Also tested 9.x stuff I still love. Everything seems to be running like a top now. Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to this project. I really enjoy it.
Great program. Thank you so much! I don't think I would have got going in this if you did not make this easy to start for a newbie that lacks computer skills. I accidently hit the stars when reading and gave it a 4 star. I am sorry it should be a 6 Star. Thanks Again.
Nathan
Fantastic release, does anyone know what Tables require VPinball993? This seems a new edition to the installer (compared to 10.1), no doubt to provide better compatibility with VP9 era tables.

I got about 20 tables loaded, all FS w/3 monitors that all run on 9.93. I haven't seen one that I need an older version for.
Ignore the missing file warning .. no idea why someone said that - perhaps they didnt login?
I just installed this on a clean pc .. works fine. Note you want VPX1setup.zip which isnt obvious. This is the 10.1 release (ie. X1).
Dont unzip (yet)
Right click the file, properties - click unblock.
Now unzip
..and run the installer
Install to c:\Visual Pinball as defaulted for you.
(uncheck the install bing bar when directx is being installed) :-)
Haven't installed for a few years now, being that I'm really rusty at installing anything just slightly complicated.
Can I install this on another drive (D:),and are there actual step by step instructions involving the initial install and the extra files, then tables?

You mean VPX2setup.zip?
Right click & unblock? I just drag and dropped it from the .zip file to the desktop and double clicked the VPX2setup.exe file.
Hey guys, just perfect this installer. 2 hours ago I made an installation from the scratch, to describe the whole process for german users and it is so easy going.
Thank you very much, great work.
Description can be found here, but beware, it is german: http://vpinball.de/i...e-installation)

Thanks for this. I used good translate to change to english. I think it reads ok .. I will follow the install this week on a 2 screen setup with a DMD
I keep getting a virus alert when trying to download the VPX2setup.zip. It says it's the Artemis virus. So, I guess I can just use the VPX1setup.exe?
