I Have the latest BAM/FP installation. I am finding if I leave a table running for more than 30 or so minutes I get unresponsive buttons such as coin, start, pause, etc. the only buttons that work are the ~ button on my keyboard. It seems to timeout. Once I click the ~ button and get out of the menu the table becomes responsive to buttons. Why is this is there some timer mode that I do not know about somewhere in scripts or settings?? Very hard to use this in my cabinet if I have to use a keyboard to make BAM/FP responsive. All power settings on my computer are set to full performance and never sleep or turn off the monitor. The table still looks responsive on the screen even music still playing but buttons other than ~ do not respond.

Windows is probably sleeping your controller. You'll need to find it in the Device Manager and tell Windows it needs to not put it into any sort of power save. I've had that issue with it sleeping my USB ports and not reawakening them.

Thanks I do not have usb suspend on.

What I think may be happening is the main monitor is losing focus so I am trying to run it in non windowed mode.

What front end are you using?

Like PinballX for example will try to take back control if you leave a table idle, it will try and return to the front end and start the attract mode cycle

None just bam launch. fploader.exe. If I alt tab from table to a folder I have open and alt tab back to table using the keyboard then the keyboard buttons work. I am using fullscreen latest bam dll provided from newest tables. I do have pinballx and it has the same behavior when using that.

I have narrowed it down to changing focus to the backglass monitor i can tell when i hit ALT TAB. I do not know if I should unplug the monitors and plug them in opposite order to fix this or what? When I alt tab back to the table buttons work again.

something on the backglass screen, or something windows is doing, would seem to be taking focus?

Ah, yea, that thing likes to grab focus every so often is nothing else is going on.
It isnt terribly useful, so far as i have found, except to monitor ink. It even has a habit of knocking out my screen saver
