Incredible project! I just found some older videos that show Oculus Rift (DK2?) support. I didnt find further informations about it, does the current version support the CV1?

Nope, I tried it out but it was made for the extendend Mode of the DK2, which is no longer working with the CV1.

Had a few games on Unit3D today, it's been a while.

Never noticed this before but it seems when I first launch a table I'm limited to 30fps. If you check and uncheck vsync then it will show correct fps.

The official website doesn't work. When I click on the link, it takes me to some french words on a mostly white screen.

It's really sad to see this die. It had - and, I believe, still has - so much potential. This could definitely be the future of pinball simulation.

@louizou, @BilboX: Any chance you would release the source code to the community? Look how much VP has grown since the same thing happened. You could even license it in a format where you could retain property over it for commercial deployments.

It really was an exciting project and very sad to see it die.  Please someone get the source code and let the community continue it

Shame. Maybe they just decided to let the domain & server run it's course and eventually disappear.

I learnt C# to use this script these games so it wasn't a waste of time!

Im still happy I donated for this Project. This Community still going kinda strong, and thats I love!

Sad this never got to the top. There is not much of a competition out there since VP is getting kinda old looking. But its so much work and also to get the tables to work with it. I dont know why its not the number one pinball Project, but I guess I can read in this thread.

I'll keep that link working until I need my Dropbox space for something else. I think it's everything, but I may be missing something, I don't remember.

This project was promising, but it was dead long time ago, so I am not sad.

Thing I don't like is they disappeared without the word... really not cool after community financed 2 expensive licenses for them. I totally understand real live comes first and this was just their hobby, but i could never understand why they didn't released source code, so someone else would keep this project alive. Screw them!

I really enjoyed interacting with the Unit3d team. I chipped in with a bit of cash too. It'd be exciting to see them open source the project.

We could certainly start a new project using either Unity or Unreal. I'm taking a Udemy Unreal course on how to build a pinball machine using Blueprints and C++. I won't have time to post new work until after New Years. In our family we have mechanical, electrical and computer science majors so the tech is there to understand physics/etc. Problem is we have very limited time during the week because we all work full-time.

I imagine we could not do recreations because of the Eula agreements and I'm sure either engine would not allow asset copyright violations to be released. We have VP to keep making those :-)

And, it pisses me off to no end that people take money and let projects die. They are then too selfish to release the source. Complete BS.

Almost forgot, Freezy added the source from Epic Games Japan where they started building a table. Could be a great building block.

I can't cut and paste from work into Explorer. Google GitHub freezy pinball-construction set

So it's likely we won't be able to play recreated tables on your new pinball emulator? Bummer...

It's starting to feel like 3D Pinball emulation has been dead for a few years.
