I also have Wildmans Light Tester if you think that might help.

There is at least 2 backglasses that does what you're after at VPU - readily available for anyone to download and use. Wildman made one - Blacksad the other. And, there might even be more of that sort. Only those two I do remember though.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

My 2 cents as a noob enthousiast:

It's a shame to see these kind of discussions on a forum, and these might have been better discussed on a discord group or something, dealing with stuff like this out in the open might just scare new people away or get them biassed.

On the other hand, new people are warned about what could happen to "their" stuff, so in that optic it's kind of a good thing.

A simple though maybe difficult idea for a guy like Knorr (sorry to focus on one person but i believe he was behind the closed site) is to make every visitor register with real personalia and phone-number (invisible to other users) so he could have taken action against in his eyes malicious users, or at least call them for an explanation or percentage thingy.

I know very well i'm speaking as an outsider, but i just would like to see things going smoothly as possible.

And next to this, as i understand it is a miss for Knorr's site to be down, because as i read it it would have helped me in my journey as well...............

Check my Im.gur for all the pics and vids :D

Knorr was a creator who pulled his personal tables from download, here and elsewhere. Randr ran vpinball, up until April 1st when he shut it down completely.

Anyone who's 21 pages deep in a discussion about a defunct website is already one of us  :bar3:

Ask a friend for a copy. It is not like the tables are gone from everyone's backups.

i think thalamus speaks here for a lot of us. from what I've seen since joining this forum in that everyone I've chatted to as always said if you need anything then just ask and am pleased to report its worked fine for me and am sure for many others also. as for Randr just closing down his forum without much notice that was a wrong move and am sure he will come to realize that in due course

Well, knorr, when you're telling two different stories to get what you want, what do you call it?

After reviewing the directive, I don't see an imminent threat of any kind. You really think they'll be beating down the doors of authors in a pinball preservation 'ring'? Lol

Well, whatever you may think is ok. We don't know each other and that's ok. Still thanks for putting them down and have a nice day.

That's a shame. I've been here the entire time.

You're welcome to stick around and get to know me. Seems weird you've worked on so many tables, yet I've rarely seen you, or them, here at all. :hmm:

i used the bucket from knorr his southpark table, i'm really happy for his help. I think if you post here a table you are the author but not the owner of the file anymore because you don't host the website. Everything what we do is not legal because everything is copyrighted, the only thing is that we don't earn money and that this material is for personal use only. Maybe an update in the guidelines will help Noah.

But indeed this discussions don't help anybody. Let's make tables again shall we?

@Noah when is your new table release? i saw a couple of old tables, are you up for an original?

@wiesshund i can be your friend  :dblthumb:

I wish.

VirtuaPin keeps me busy 90% of my day. After I'm done at the shop, I usually assist people with getting things setup.

I really want to bring The Four Horsemen table up to today's standards. :)
