I have a question about the power distribution board I hope I'm in the right spot. On applying 120 vac to board I see line in j8 and switched out j7 both molex micro fit one is a 3 pin connector line in and switched 4 pin connector 120 vac out. I do not know how to connect my wires here ? which is the load and neutral ? There is no markings on the PCB that I am aware of. The 3 pin in and 4pin out has me at a stand still. I got the pinscape hook have all my PCBs assembled and stuck like Chuck. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated.

It looks like I neglected to label those pins on the silkscreen.  You can always look at the .brd in an EAGLE viewer if you run into anything missing like this, since that'll let you see exactly what's connected to what, but I'll add the labels to make this easier the next time someone runs into this.  Hopefully this will help:

Thank you so much for helping me I feel a lot better now connecting the 120vac. And for all your other work in the virtual pinball community has taught me a great deal. The pinscape build guide has been my go to. Thank you.

I have installed the power distribution board in my cab and have to say it is really nice ,got rid of a bunch of wires and really cleaned up the inside of cab making things much neater safer and easier to work on. worth every penny . Anyone that is thinking of assembling this board you wont regret it. I have it in the cab powering a dudes cab controller that I will swap out for with the pinscape pico next.  I  have two extra PCBs available for it was a three board limit purchased from OSH PARK if anyone  wants a power distribution board 30 bucks plus shipping let me know.  [email protected].       And I would like to say thank you to MJR for creating the pinscape platform and all the other individuals for contributing to this hobby.

I am currently building the same version of this main board.  I reposted this picture for clarity.

main-board-1.jpg

The BOM list C7 as being a 100nf and C8 as a 4.7uf.  It appears the BOM is continuing with the odd capacitor at the top of board and even on the bottom.

Thank you for your work on this excellent project.  Can you confirm that assumptions I am making about these values are correct?  I can wait to get this thing working!!

Yeah, the part numbering there doesn't match the pattern - I missed that.  You can definitely go ahead and install them as shown in your picture, consistent with the other capacitors along that row.  Both parts in the pair (C7 and C8, and all of the other pairs) are wired power-to-ground, so it doesn't actually matter electrically which order they're in, but it sure looks nicer (and is less confusing when soldering everything) to have them lined up consistently.

Yall are doing good work here ... working together to perfect the design and project in general.

No one intends to have to create an addendum or revision, but I still say it's better than ignoring it, builders having to guess, etc.

The way yall are doing is a good way to keep the end-result build-quality high (near 100%).

That's a picture of Pinball Wizards board from the start of this thread.  I have whichever board you shipped me a couple of weeks ago:)  Mine does have the same version.  I actually thought it was the same batch.
