Sorry, JP, I first tried to change rom name to "cavnegro" (line 17) and it didn't work, then  I downloaded the table again and I've the same problem

I can't close the table and I still can hear the voice from the rom

Hi,

Please change line 17, as JP told you. Then, download this ROM 👇

https://www.vpforums...ds&showfile=558

Play the table and enjoy! ;)

Thanks for your support. 👍

It's impossible only if you believe so. ;)

JP Criterium is having trouble counting points and drawing. The table has no count of ten

I see what you mean. The problem also was in the older version, I guess I forgot to add the rubber points :) I'll make an update :)

FIXED. I have uploaded version 2.0.1 of Criterium 77. I changed the rubbers value from 100 to 10.

OMG! JP, your timing is perfect. I'm retiring in 2 days. And people are asking "What are you going to do with yourself?". Do you think I should tell them, or just keep drooling as I download and play these tables?

Cheers

Downloaded all and updated my cabinet. I have noticed many differences and improvements.

The tables play very well.

Now I just need to learn how to swap the plastics to english or just learn spanish words for bonus, tilt, high score, etc.

Taito tables in general use unusual sound effects for the point values, which always leaves me guessing was that a 10pts, 100pts, 1000pts value target.

Shark for example always leaves me guessing what the sound trigger music value is for or special target.

I find myself playing the Taito version table now rather than an original table (ie Zarra not Xenon)

What a great early Christmas gift. Thank you!

Well, the text in the apron it's not Spanish, it's Portuguese (from Brazil :) ) But, in many tables, I have added in the Table info the rules in English. But the rules aren't complicated in these older tables, so they are easy to pick up.

What? Are you retiring in two days? I'm still counting, 1 year, 3 months and 16 days until I retire :D And the people at work keep asking me the same :D

Starting a cabinet build and just found these.  They are amazing.  One question, when Im running them in cabinet configuration is there any way to get the dmd working through freezy dmdext?   When I load Drakor I just see a blank freezy DMD and no scoring.  Or is there some other way to display scores for these tables?

I don't think that kind of vpinmame DMD works using the freezy dmdext. That dmd can't be used using a flasher or a textbox in desktop mode either. It is the same with all the tables of other manufacturer from that era.

PS: Sorry for writing in Portuguese, VPF staff.

Yes, but these tables do not really have a DMD, scoring was on the backglass in segmented LED, there was nothing else.

But if you really want one for some reason, it works fine, long as you have an up to date install of freezy's 1.8 dmd extensions

It does not look good in dot matrix fashion, and it wont work with alphanumerics due to how this taito controller does the LED segment array
