Harlem Globettroters on Tour VP91x 2.3FS

Version: 2.3.0
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): jpsalas

Description:
Based on the table by Bally from 1979
This is the FS version of my table.

This table includes images higher than 1024x1024 if you have problems displaying them with your graphic card simple grab my 4:3 table, extract the images and replace them in this table.

-----------
Update 2.1:
- Added new bumpers.
- some small changes in the plastics.

Update 2.2:
- New graphics, mostly because of the FS versión needing better quality graphics.

Update 2.3
- Adjusted for VP91x and added alpha plastics.

thanks JP

guess i'll need the lower res images for this one. Man that offscreen z surface destroyed my desktop. Pixels show up everytime i move a window now. Doh

Another high res table from JP? Yes please! My only complaints about other JP tables are the squished playfields, so this should be sweeeeet. Thanks!

Your answer is in the quote you quoted chas. Please re-read the part about 1024x1024 images. This version of the table is only for people who have video cards with 1 Gigabyte or more video ram.

kruge:
i pretty sure i have been using 1328 resolution.
higher res up to 1920 is available but loses video quality.
best at 1320.
reduced the image to 1024 and less.
still dont work.
same white washed playfield.
running a Nvidia GT220 with 1GB.
UW tables also have washed out playfields.
everything else is good.
in system info i have about 2GBs of virtual and physical memory.
i guess i need to increase the memories to maybe 4GB.

Chas, we are asking you to export ALL of the big images in the table --> image manager, and then use a photo editing program to resize them to 1024x1024, and re-import them back into the table using the image manager. If you don't understand how to do this, switch back to the previous version of Harlem Globetrotters. The only difference is JP replaced some of the images with hi-res (bigger) images.

You can certainly try to run a 1024x768 16 colours but I don't think that will fix your video issue. Besides, I have read other posts by other people stating that your GT220 video card may not be good enough to run VP. I don't know the answer to that question though.

Best Regards,
Todd.
