File Name: The Party Zone VP91x FS

File Submitter: jpsalas

File Submitted: 30 Mar 2010

File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): jpsalas
Manufacturer: Bally
Year: 1991
Permission to MOD?: No

Based on the Bally table from 1991

The is the FS version.
There are some diferentes in the placing of some objects compared to the 4:3 version. Also the bumpers are standard bumpers, since they looked better in this view.

Update 1.1
- Added impulse plunger for better hting the skillshot. But still is hard to do http:///default/smile.gif
- changed some settings

Update 1.2 28 March 2011
- Updated for VP912 with new alpha ramps
- Added new flippers and changed some settings.
- Added new bumpers
- Fixed the left ramp
Re uploaded the table to remove some walls, which may give some graphic corruption on some cards

Update 1.2.1 28 April 2011
- Added the missing roll over wires http:///default/smile.gif

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

For some reason, the ball seemed a tad bit choppy. I turned off 'render shadows' and it now runs perfectly. I could really seem to notice if I was missing out on anything?

I did the same thing with Cirqus Voltaire before.

Just played several games. Fantastic table, fantastic build by JP.

Got choppy on me during some laugh mode that made all the lights flash though. Still awesome anyway.

Very nice! Just played a few games myself, and it is not only beautiful, but also alot of fun to play. smile.gif

Mine is also a little bit choppy during the light flashes and multi-ball. It is very much playable, but I notice it a bit.

Edit: Very strange... I turned shadows back on, and saved the table, and now the ball is running 100% smooth again. (I wonder if it was just coincidence, and I may have had something running in the background on my pc.. although I shouldn't have anything running. Really need to get XP on my cab!)

Edit2: In case anyone is interested, I found out what my problem was. I figured out that it only ran choppy when running it through HyperPin. I took a look at the backglass file that I downloaded from Flying Dutchmans site and noticed that the size was 1259x943. I resized it in photoshop to 1280x1024 (my bg resolution) and now it runs super! I still get the odd stutter during the flashing lights, but it is much more playable and enjoyable. Does this make any sense to anyone why this would happen with an odd backglass resolution size in HyperPin?

Edit3: Holy crap this is an awesome table! I feel like I stole somrthing.... I should not be able to have this much entertainment for free.

Wow! what a beauty. This is one of the reasons JP Salas is considered the master of VP. love39.gif
You really did an incredible job on this one. The light show is fantastic. The toys are top notch.

No problems at all on my end using Win. 7 64 bit 8800gt 512mb 182.50 drivers.

I love this table. Thanks to all involved with this project.
