btw: Just went through my VPX collection after loserman's big update, and we crossed the 450 unique machines "border" now! (with MODs, etc is much much more even, almost 650 VPX tables)

That total must be including unreleased tables.  I think I just passed 400 this evening

It includes betas/WIPs/other sites, but i don't think i have more than 1 or 2 completely unreleased tables anymore..

zzz table was indeed there to fix a bug that the last config was not visible in the ini files, but i didn't remember that zzz was not visible in the ini files

 

anyway, i indeed would prefer to have one dof test table that contains all the dof tests available, randr made the initial dof test so perhaps you can check with him to consolidate all the checks?

They are different things. DOF test table is for testing the function of DOF toys.
This table is part of DJRobX's changes to VP10.4 nudging, it makes calibration way easier and the main use is to change the configuration for nudge as the light/camera mode does for POV.

I just put a few tests for problematic DOF toys in, everything that may influence the acceleration sensors, which is every toy that moves and causes vibration, and also sound.

But that stuff is a secondary function only. The main function is analog nudge calibration as DJRobX intended.

We also should add a tutorial or a documentation of the nudging settings (x/ymax, x/ygain and so on) and how they influence the ball behavior.
I have a sidewinder installed in my cab and I already play around with these settings but I don't really know what I'm actually doing (well that's normal anyway )

Ok @Sir Cheddar, fine for me, i renamed zzz to Vpx nudge test in configtool, the last config bug in the configtool has been fixed a long time ago, tell me if i can publish the old "zzz" asis?

btw, the new rome name to use is nudge_test if that's okay

Hey guys...thanks for all your hard work. I searched but could not find anything related to my issue. I recently loaded 3286 and noticed several stern tables lighting was not working correctly...specifically a new machine that uses PuP and a machine That plays back in black. It appears to be an issue with some of the main lighting on the tables.
