Rules? What rules?

The Story:
Gargamel has decided to use another strategy to capture the smurfs.
In the middle of the forest he has built an amusement park for the smurfs.
And pretending to be nice he will try to capture them all.
The smurfs are having too much fun, unaware of Gargamel and his intentions.

The Game:
The goal of the game is to become a master of the 6 main rides/attractions.
You'll find skillshots, ball savers, extra balls, mystery awards, highscores and much more.
When you are a master of an attraction the each time you complete the attraction you get a jackpot. This jackpot increases each time you get a jackpot.

The Attractions:
- The Mirror Maze: a maze where you may end on the Azrael Shooting gallery, the bumper cars or simply back to the entrance.
- The Azrael Shooting gallery: just drop all the targets, don't forget to nudge!
- The Haunted House: hit all the targets and be careful of the ghosts.
- Bumper Cars: hit those 100 times to advance your status.
- Freefall: help your smurf friends to ride the freefall. Shoot the spinners.
- Ferry's Wheel: Papa smurf will help you to get you to the top playfield. Here you may ride the Main Center Ride or the Insane Ride.
- Insane Ride: hit the targets to increase the value of the ride, and get your three smurf friends and get your ride!

The Music:
Some Swedish smurfs singing some disco songs, typical for any smurf amusement park :)

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Thank you----Very challenging table. That upper playfield really requires the "right" shot. Is there a way to rotate the dmd 90 degrees? I looked for the "rol" command in the script and am not seeing it.

I've said this once before... I just dont know how JP jams this much stuff into a table... keeps the file size under 20mb... plays smooth even on an old laptop.....

what's the secret wizardry behind all this awesomeness....

Rotate the DMD? Well, this is not a vpinamme table, so I made the DMD with reels, because it was easy for me to make it. To rotate it will require to rotate all the images, the reels, and the code to display them. I won't do that. I was thinking that later I could use the UltraDMD.

About the table's file size? I use most of all VP objects for everything that can be done with VP objects. The ramps are all VP ramps, no 3D meshes. I also use small images, and if I don't need transparency then I use JPG instead of BMP or PNG. Also all the sounds are mono, 16 bits, 22,5khz. VP makes them sound as if they were stereo, by using the build in sound commands. All these helps to keep the file size down.

Yes, this table started as a Pinball Circus, but when I saw that it wouldn't look nice in FS and it would be mostly a desktop table, I decided to use a little fantasy and make it into a park instead, with several more attractions. I made it in a way that it could be possible to build a real table it you should like to. But I kept that Pinball Circus ramp :) Btw the left "insane ride", as I call it, is made with a single ramp, using the new options available in VP10.

Well, the table is meant for kids, so it is quite easy, but you'll need patience to learn the shots :) You can play quite a long time with 5 balls, but it is difficult to complete the rides :)

The middle ramps starts a 2 sided ramp, if you shoot to the left it goes to the left ramp, if you shoot a little to the right it will go to the right ramp. But as soon as you hit any of the 2 green targets then the ramp is fixed to the left side or to the right, depending on which target is hit/lit.

This is such a fantastic table, very well executed! Great music, theme, and gameplay! I have to admit I'm bummed to hear that it will be difficult to rotate the DMD as I am playing this on my cabinet. :( ...but such is life I suppose! Again, wonderful and creative table, thank you!

Impressive. Thank you!

UltraDMD support would be awesome. Gargamel looks and plays pretty good on my cab.

Not perfect for cab usage for obvious reasons but boy, this Smurf Circus is too amazing to not install it - rotated DMD or not.

yes really nice table. thank you. to bad there is no dmd rotation. even with utradmd you can't do y scale rotation. i tried it on america's most haunted table but just x scale rotation is implemented in ultradmd

Very cool and different table. With a few backdrop tweaks, plays fine in the cab. Looking forward to a BG if anyone out there is working on one. Maybe something
with scoring so we can just disable the built in DMD? Thanks for another solid release JP.

JP, how do I turn the dmd off? Can't remember. thanks

Switch to Backdrop in the editor, mark all objects of the DMD and move them off the screen.
