I have been chatting with a few of you on this flipper issue I am having. Here is a video of exactly what is happening.

I have checked all connections on my cab - switched buttons out -same result.

Anyone ever seen this before?

thanks for your help in advance.

Cy

This happens on both Visual PInball and Future PInball. FYI

This also happens with both flippers

Never seen anything like it... first guess would be a switch failure but if you replaced them with new ones, then maybe not.

What kind of switch are you using? It is advisable to have good quality leaf switches for the flippers.

Failing that, maybe your interface (IPAC?) is acting up?

Maybe something like "trigger cascading" is causing the switch to jitter, just put a diode between the switch and your iPAC so the

interface will register just one event each time the switch is activated.

... gone fishin', no really.......

I had something like that on one of my flippers.  It was not as bad as you have, but it would register 2 quick taps every 10 or so flips.  I just wiggled my switch wires and the problem went away.  I have played with micro-switchs, mini-micro switches, leaf switches.  I think leaf switches are the best and most original.
