Windows 8 came with Pinball FX2 and I also downloaded the update for it today so I could play the Star Wars tables since it told me to. When I first got the computer I was able to buy the additional tables, but when I try to buy the Star Wars and Zen Classic tables either in the game or through the games app on the the computer (extra content) I can't buy them. It says purchase cannot be completed at this time please try again. I have tried this several different times with no luck. Does anybody know why this is happening and how to fix this?

So I sent Zen Studios an email and got a pretty quick reply that they are working on the issue with Microsoft. I hope this is correct.

Don't blame you. Win 8 is just about the most unintuitive piece of software I have ever used. As I only use it for FX2 as an experiment on a spare drive I can live with it until a proper PC version comes along.

Can't recommend it, Faralos. FF15 is not an ESR version so it doesn't get security updates. XP is still ok till 04/2014, then it won't get security updates anymore.

Keep your browser, flash plugin, and pdf reader current and remove Java if you don't need it.

It reduces the likeness of you having you bug somebody like me to get rid of that Advanced Registry Cleaner And Hyper Antivirus 2013 you never installed.

But yes, Windows 8? Only if I get paid for it.

I just made the switch, you learn how to use it its actually not that bad.

Now for the subject at hand bha19 - go to the home screen and click on the games app (controller is the tile), now buy it through here. It doesn't work in the game but you can buy it outside the game and then download it from pinball fx 2.

Sorry it took so long to respond but I finally got someone on the phone from Microsoft technical support that deals with apps and they tried everything including remote access to my computer and setting up a temporary account to try to buy the tables and finally decided it was a server problem on their end and would try to fix it. I was sure there were people on the EST of the U.S. that bought the tables but when I try it says table not localized so hopefully they fix it.
