Hello,

I'm working on a table that requires the player to monitor a gauge to prevent "over heating" and if the player fails to turn it off in time, I need the flippers to die and remain down until the ball drains - just like a tilt from over nudging. I can't seem to get this to work. I've tried adding the LeftFlipper.SolenoidOff() and RightFlipper.SolenoidOff(), which drops them, but they come right back to life and you can continue to play the ball. I've tried adding the lines from the FuturePinball_Tilted() and calling the sub FuturePinball_Tilted() - nothing seems to work. Can someone tell me how to simulate a "soft" tilt without nudging ?

Thanks!

You need to add a condition to the flipper routine. for example something like:

If (KeyCode = GetKeyCode(LeftFlipperKey)) Then
If overheat = false then ' ADD THIS BIT
LeftFlipper.SolenoidOn
PlaySound "Flipper"
end if  ' ADD THIS BIT
End If

Then somewhere in the script set the overheat flag to true and then reset after a while.
