Just thought I'd stick up a pic of my little cab.

It's my first attempt, and I'm not a natural woodworker (nor does my small flat have the room for this kind of work!)

But the cab works pretty well and it's great fun!

Cute!  I bet you could pick up a used old table for nearly nothing, cut the legs off it and put them on this.

Very cool. You could get a old computer chair and take the chair of and screw the wheels to the bottom of your cab . Just need to make sure the wheels lock and you could ajust the height to suit with the gas struts? Local tips a good place to look for old computer chairs .. Oh by the way very nice mini cab whats the playfield/ screen sizes

Thanks everyone :)

Backglass is 14" and Playfield is 17"

I'm just putting it up on the table to play at the moment, when I have more room I'll build another one with legs! (And hopefully have space for to use a Jigsaw this time!)

I'd like to do a nudge sensor, but with a  spinning 2.5" drive inside I was thinking that might be a bad idea on this one, another project 2 feature (along with the DMD, the plunger, the speakers......)

Addictive this cab building thing....

aww it's so cute! and you can mount it on a skateboard for portability!

what's the weight of it since it's legless a

and how large are those monitors since there is no size relation for the cab?

neat little cab though!!

Great looking cabinet.

I'm starting to plan a build for the end of the year, as a complete noob, this will be my first attempt and I'm scanning the forums for tips.  Are you willing to give more details of the build and how easy was the set up with just two screens and no DMD?

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1Gb

Thanks :) Although my little cab is nothing on some of the stuff shown on these forums from people with real building skills!

I'm not sure I have the time for  a build log, but if I'm happy to help out if my advice is any use...

It's not exactly light, but you can pick it up and carry it - just not too far

17" Playfield and 14" backglass
