This is an original table, so don't look for a rom.It runs under VP912.
The table was designed by T-800. The rules, layout, graphics, music and sounds are his. I simply put it altogether in a VP table. If I remember right T-800 spent almost a year designing this table, and I spent 3 months on the VP table.

I should like to thank Strangeleo72 for testing the table and and tips, like suggesting the use of the magna save.

I won't talk much more about the table, so read the manual to get an idea of the rules and goals, and most of all have as much fun playing this table as we have had designing it for you.

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Well, the year spent in the design is quite evident T-800. Yes, most of us know J.P. puts together awesome tables, and thanks J.P. for assembling the deep rule set and graphical goodness for us. The use of the theme coupled with this late 90's design makes it feel like a conversion of a real table. It's a true pleasure to play through the modes, discover the combos and rack up the points. Too many great touches in the details to mention....a very finished product.

A surprisingly fun and exciting game. I think the voice of the narrator should be deeper though, more god-like. Bringing the pitch down %10 should do the trick. Overall an impressive achievement for a VP table, the best original table so far. Well done.

Thanks for the positive comments Jon. I don't have proper audio software to bring my voice down in pitch. You're more than welcome to extract those audio clips and mod them. Email them to me and I'll consider implementing them in the next table update.

I wish I had the time to do that! I changed one of the samples (God of War).....here's how it sounds, pitched down (20% worked better):

I used Audiacity to adjust the sample. It's free to download and easy to use. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Top notch stuff.

My only minor feedback: since your music was added in the Sound Manager rather than moved out to VP's music folder, VP's music volume slider (which I personally prefer quite low) has no influence on it.

Ball got stuck between the raising eject and the captive ball -
Posted Image

That can be fixed by disabling "collidable" on the trapdoorup1 wall, or by allowing for more space between the wall and the captive ball/posts.

For the rules - specifically:
"Each lit skull takes away 10 seconds from ball save until ball save goes to zero. (e.g. if a ball is in an outlane drain flip the light to turn on the skull light before the ball passes through to avoid the 10 second penalty)."

It would make more sense to flip to light the Tree light to avoid the penalty, that's probably a typo?
Some of the modes and speech callouts should be changed to ease confusion - ie having a "God Mode", "gods mode", and "God Wizard Mode" isn't helping to keep those straight, as well as the "Hades Mode Battle" and the extremely repetitive "Escape from Hades is now Open" voice callout doesn't help either.
What I suggest for the kickback is to only play the voice callout when it is actually enabled, rather than every time you complete L27 and L28. Especially during multiball you can be hearing that constantly with 4 or 5 balls in play and stacking multiballs.

Destruk - thanks for the feedback! Keep the bugs you notice and any other feedback/suggestions on rules/gameplay coming!

Stuzza - Ascending to the Zeus upper playfield was intentionally made difficult (but there's a reward if you make it!). Use the magna save button if you want to make it easier. After a couple times using the magna save it's fairly easy to get your timing down for either the upper orbit or upper ramp shot.

Outstanding pin and with some cool spoken speech in it too!
great graphics (as always) and tons of events to complete in it also!
Another masterpiece that belongs in the top ten

What is the magna save? Is this something extra I have to setup? Sorry I haven't looked into what magna save is before this. If you could elaborate that'd be great.

Definition of Magna-save: A feature in pinball that allows the player to activate a magnet located just below the entrance to an outlane. A ball headed for the outlane (which will cause the loss of the ball) will be held by the magnet and diverted to the corresponding inlane instead; keeping the ball in play. A table using this feature is Black Knight.

In this table, the Magna-save is a magnet situated at the top right of the table. When the Magna-Save button (Left CTRL or right CTRL) is pressed then the magnet gets activated and it will freeze the ball or at least slow it down so you may hit the ball easier and send it to the top ramp, top loop or the lock.
