Flipper Football VP9 1.0 FS

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): jpsalas

Description:
Based on the 1996 table with the same name from Capcom
Thanks to Ext2k for the playfield and plastics redraw.
Also thanks to Joep & LuvThatApex for making the old table, in which I based the script for the flippers and the lightnumbers, since they aren't readable in the pdf manual.

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

dblthumb.gif Magnificent! Fast and furious gameplay!! Looks stunning! VP at it's best. Thanks JP smile.gif

Took me a couple of games getting my ass kicked by the machine to get my game together. Dropping the drop-targets at mid-field, does that weaken the defense? My 3rd game I was able to eke out a win smile.gif

Thank you JP for the table. It looks beautiful! dblthumb.gif Now I can get rid of my old 4:3 conversion.
While you are on the Capcom theme, would you please consider doing a Pinball Magic or Kingpin?

I just noticed this on the IPD website, and was wondering this is a rom thing or scripted?? I am not personally interested in turning this on, but was curious what controlled the feature.
Thanx in advance,

...I have also added this to my cab table and it looks AWESOME!! Do not change the ball decal on front and back, just replace the actual ball with this.
This is the ball i use for rapid vienna as well- makes the feel more realistic i think.

Maceman

...and cab settings if anyone needs a quick fit:

Once again, great work JP ! this one was probably too easy for you (but I left some requests a little more complicated in the appropriate section... smile.gif )

Why did you change the settings Maceman ?

I haven't changed any performance settings. These are JP's layback/FOV and such...
I just included my cab X and Y settings for those who wanted a quick fit...instead of fiddlin'. On my cab, most of the apron was cut off. Jp doesn't have a cab i don't think, so i think he said his settings reflect his one monitor flipped sideways?

You'll notice the setting of 1.508 for the x-scale..now that is picky! However, anything bigger leaves a residual ball trails at the upper playfield where lanes go off screen and back on. Took me 10 minutes to get the settings perfect. I'm at 1920 X 1080 on my cab btw.

Just save the soccer ball image to your computer, and in vp go to table, image manager, and import the new image into vp. Then all you do is make you change the ball name in the table option menu to the right and select the drop down and select the ball you imported, then save!!
