Star Trek 25th Anniversary v1.05

Version: 1.0.5
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): JPSalas, Grizz, Hassanchop, StrangeLeo72

Description:
Based on the Data East table from 1992
First I want to thank Strangeleo72 for taking the pictures of the real table and to Grizz & Hassanchop for redrawing the playfield and plastics.

I have used many alpha ramps in this table to add some light effects. I tried to keep them to a minimum to do not slow down the table. Also the GI effects are also very much reduced. But still there are enough lights blinking smile.gif

The FS version has higher resolution graphics. So if your graphic card can display them, then if you want to can extract the higher images and replace them in this table. The images are green_a, green_b, green_on, pf, pf_a, pf_b, pf_on, pf_flash, plastics and plastics_on. I use to that in the versions I use to play smile.gif

Update 1.01:
-Fixed trigger on the right ramp not registering

Update 1.02:
- Fixed hole triggers under the left ramp, removed the extra diverter and fixed the gate.

Update 1.04 27 August 2011
- Fixed script bug. Thanks Axioma for finding that one.
- Fixed loop gate
- Fixed rom name

Update 1.05 2 October 2011
- Fixed a few script bugs (thanks to kiwi and DedRock_V)

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Cool!

Thank you!

One of us smells like a tart's handkerchief. Afraid it's me. Sorry about that, old boy.

Hello dblthumb.gif

Still a great release, bravo.

Just a small thing, the initialization of pinball there is no central target.

I added:
For each x in btargets:x.IsDropped = 1:Next
ta1.IsDropped = 0:tb1.IsDropped = 0

Again thank you for that table. otvclap.gif

Yes, I know about that target. But if you add that line, then maybe next time you start the table it will be two targets, since the rom finds out the the target has been used before and it displays it in the right position. The extra target will disappear thou when it starts moving.

JP, the right ramp isn't triggering to collect extra ball or collecting the crystal to increase power for the transporter.

Well not for me anyway.

All else seems fine like my real one.
