I just cannot get Monopoly to run right no matter what I try and I have beefy hardware. Does anyone know if there are any plans in the works to release a VP FS Monopoly without the FVP stuff? I love the table so that would be great.

I was never able to get monopoly runnig smoothly either. One of the very few I had to give up on. I believe flashvp was the problem with that table. I have a black edition quad core @ 3.4 and I got ball stutering. I was hoping jpsalas or unclewilly would try a redo.

I have a(relatively) strong computer(core i7 920 -> 4ghz , 6gb ddr3 , gtx285) and this table never ran smoothly in any settings.

I hope everybody forget this FVP stuff use in the future smile.gif

Now that alpha transparency is in VP91x I am also hoping that Monopoly gets an update without FVP. tup.gif

I can ask Bad Boy bill for permission for someone to mod it. Anyone up for the task?

If bill has the psds from his textures, I'll build it from scratch.
Although I'm sure the community would rather see it done by jp or groni.
See if you can get a hold of his textures bent.

Seems like it would be worth it to build over the existing to save time. Stuff like the spinning flipper would be tedious and pointless to rebuild. No?

Also, your tables are awesome!

The table is already a rebuilt mod of pacdudes table, I helped bill with it while he was rebuilding it. I actually prefer to do my own scripting so a mod really wouldn't work for
Me.

Hey TheKeef, you still up for some testing? I should have rocky done in a few days.

Are you serious? One of my all time favourite tables is your Monster Bash FS smile.gif I play same time than with Jp's tables.

About Groni: He don't do FS tables he hate them(he told me in PM).

So we wait your Monopoly FS version Unclewilly if you will do it once rolleyes.gif

Your stuff is fantastic, you have incorporated many details and physics from a real pinball players perspective into your tables and it shows.
Also, thank you for incorporating the ability to use a shooter rod into your games as well!
I have showed your Fathom table to buddies that have CPR restored playfields in their own game, and they were just taken back by the level of detail in your virtual version.

By the way, Rocky, is an excellent choice. Very neat and original game, I got a chance to play it at the Pinball Hall of Fame.

One of my buddies just bought one and will be displaying it at the Michigan Pinball Expo from April 14th- April 17th.

Both Noah and myself will be bringing our Virtual Pinball cabs to the show, it would be nice to show off your version next to the real thing.

Thanks again for all your hard work, I even find myself not thanking you guys enough, but your hard work has not gone un-noticed. We also relize that you have had some "real life"distractions lately. If there is anything we can do to help just ask.....

Much Thanks

I too would love to see your handiwork on getting this to work with the VP9x series. I tried working on it myself, but being a newbie, I couldn't quite fix the issues I have. The ball gets trapped in the wire ramps near the flippers, and I also discovered in the editor that 5 or 6 of the kickers that are on the table weren't even enabled! (left side there are three on top of each other, one by the rotating flipper under the side flipper above it, and I think one or to others. UncleWilly, I love what you did with the Pinbot series tables, so don't think your tables aren't as good as JP or Groni or Destruk's. They are awesome! Two other tables I would love to see retooled are: Maverick and Twister. I have fixed my copy of twister to change the color of the wire ramps and get the one above the magnetic wheel to line up a bit more with the 'mount' and kept the shape of the ramp close to the original shape from the real table the best I could. I also added the background of the full size shot of the background. I dont know how to animate the lights and all that for it, but I figured it just looked a bit better this way. Not really worth posting as a mod, but if anyone would like it I can post it later.
