Star Trek VP91x 1.1

Version: 1.1.0
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): jpsalas

Description:
Based on the table by Bally from 1979.
First I want to thank Popotte for letting me use his graphics.

The table is as always as angle free as possible, with only the plunger looking a little weird on some angles.

Well, it is one of my standard tables for VP9 smile.gif
And just change the settings to suit your preferences (view angle, flippers, etc).

JP

Update 1.1:
- Added alpha transparent plastics and changed some settings (flippers, slope). I also change the ball (which is nearly the same as the older) and added the star triggers as a bmp, so they are visible on all the computers.

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

I thought those graphics looked familiar!

Thanks JP!
& lets all thank Popotte for being kind enough to give him his redrawn graphics, which I'm sure made things easier on JP.
Popotte is a good guy like that.

I almost bought a Star Trek last summer as a project pin, but I passed on it in favor of a Flash. I don't regret it, cuz I'm not a Star Trek fan at all. However, I do still think the table itself is a tad underrated. Probably a bit too slow in real life for some peoples taste, & some people don't like the shot back to the plunger lane cuz it slows the flow of the game. However, these are the people, like myself, who opt for a Williams from that time period as they play faster & have more flow, better sound IMHO.
Star Trek still a cool game though. It might even be better suited for VP than in real life!

Ciao JP,
come sempre i tuoi pinball sono favolosi, ottimo lavoro, ma perche' non funziona l'audio? ho provato tutti i settaggi, ma si sentono solo i rumori meccanici...Help! otvwimper.gif

Hey JP! There is no Bally sound. I have both bally roms and the bally samples zipped in pinmame/samples, all other Bally games at that period work fine.. help! :-)

Another extra smooth fun to play creation J.P. Surprised to see another version, but after playing several games I'm very glad you beamed this one down.

To get the sounds working you need to hit F1 and check the use samples box.
