Hi Guys,

I'm still pretty new to Future Pinball. I have most tables setup and working, but I would prefer to have my balls "auto lift" on tables that require the ball to be lifted.

Is there a setting to enable this in Future Pinball...?

My preference would be to set it globally for all tables.

Thanks!

After inserting coins and pressing start, the ball needs to be "lifted" so that it can launched... It's usually Special Key 1 that does it, but I've read that it's possible for this to happen automatically so that after pressing Start, the ball is loaded and ready to be launched...

Hmm, that happens automatically for me. I'm pretty sure it was by default as well; I certainly don't recall doing anything special (changing settings etc.)

I'm not in front of my cab at the moment but will take a look at my FP settings and see if I can spot anything.

I'm using the BAM (Better Arcade Mode) version though. What version are you using?

I'm using BAM, too. Try a table like Beat the Clock and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Here's a table referencing the "Auto Lift Ball" setting. I just have no idea where to find it

I haven't played any of those real old-school tables. My interests lay in the more modern era TBH so I haven't encountered this issue.

Keys are defined under 'Game Keys and Controls' (see below).

Ignore the red boxes, this was the first screenshot I came across with mention of the Special Keys. As I'm at work and can't check, is there not an option for auto lift in either the Special1 or Special2 drop down boxes?

Auto or manual lift are coded... So, don't search a parameter.

Auto lift for a table like Auto Race is a non sense as you can (if you want) lift the 5 balls and launch them in a single shot.

Les cons ça ose tout. C'est même à ça qu'on les reconnaît.
