Maybe a tip for ATI users who have problems ruinig this table. (old news maybe, but still)

1. uncheck hardware rendering (I think in Options)
2. save the table!!!!
3. exit VP9
4. restart
5. try again

I forgot the saving and restarting bit at first and got a black playing field. I was very disapointed. then I suddenly remembered :-)

GREAT TABLE TNX ALOT!!!!!

I'm not really sure what you mean, but the Steps shot seems to be working fine for me. I can't see any difference with Lander's version.

Oh yes, I retried and the diverter works, hence the Steps. Maybe my VP was crashed when I played it previously. But still, the switch I mentioned is misplaced, the left gate shouldn't open when exiting the ramp. And one more little detail: in the right inlane, the "Lite Mystery Mirror Tunnel" isn't actually a light on the real machine.

Cheers!

I just wanted to let you know that I have updated the table.

Changes:
- fixed misplaced switch
- moved the upper flipper a little more up to make it easier to hit Ruby.
- fixed slingshots (but don't complain now if some shots doesn't register, even if you see the animation smile.gif )
- removed the extra light on the right inlane.
- Removed the color steps lights, and added the lights on the back of the hands.
- Changed the color of the transparent ramps.

Greetings
JP

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Excellent update! The upper left flipper feels much more natural now.

Anyone else having issues with the ball getting stuck on the steps?

Haven't had a chance to try the updated one yet, but how does it compare to the Megapin mod?

JP, I played three games, all with the same result...

Won't drop and no amount of nudging helps.

Thanks for the update, JP!
Playability is perfect. There's no need to touch that anymore.
I also experienced Noah's problem:
That's a bug for sure.
Only missing thing: the shaking of the mouth when Rudy snores.
And one more detail to make it look even more real:
The shooter gate is not a wire gate, it's one of those thick gates (as on the older pinball machines).
A pic of it can be seen here: http://www.ipdb.org/...966&picno=21293

Yup, the ball gets stuck here too.

There's one minor thing regarding the stepgate, on the real machine, it looks like this:

Yours look like this:

Would it be possible to make it look like the real one in VP?

EDIT: Changed the images, marked with red.
The real gate is round at the end, JP's is not round at the end, if you know what i mean.

Reuploaded the table. Still the same version number. Somehow I managed to flip the ramp, so the right wall (the taller one) was on the left side stopping the ball from going from the steps to the ramp.

I know about the gate. I have used two flippers to make the animation. Otherwise I should have used many walls, and I prefered the flippers smile.gif

I also know about the shooter gate, but the flat gates were out of stock in the shop so I used one VP9 gate I had around smile.gif

Could you perhaps use an EM Reel in the backglass to dub over the flipper diverters, to make it appear like it's closed?
