Hi,
this is Popeye saves the earth Full Screen. I never played the original table but this one is really fun. It is quite hard to find good images of this pin, so I am very grateful to Noah who gave me permission to use his playfield scan. I also want to thank Joep / Sean Palmer, who created the VP8 version, as I found out about the right lock mechanism within their table.
Please use VPin 9.2.1 or above (DX9), as previous versions do not support the flasher functionality.
At the top of the script is a configuration section, where You can activate dB2S, dim the GI and Flashers etc.
Some hints:
- beware the nasty outlanes.
- If You come up the blue Animal ramp, You can push the ball to one of the animals by pressing the left flipper key.
- to find Swee Pea have a look at the map on the DMD and choose the doors accordingly
This version still has some minor issues:
- the sound level is a bit low for the first ball, then it comes up again
- the wheel comes sometimes a bit out of synch and rewards the wrong (next) item
- the GI callback is programmed but is not called from the ROM - strange
- there are still some switch warnings but with no ill effect as far as I know
- DX9 works fine - only the ball launch is not recognized at the first push
Have fun and please use the support topic to address problems or remarks.

What's New in Version 1.2a (See full changelog)
- - compensate new plunger mechanics (VPin 9.9.2)
- - flipper primitives by Zany
- - flipper settings adjusted
- 1.2a:
- - small fix to avoid drains of balls coming from the wheel
Thanks!
Thank you for the quick update and this gem of a table. Your work is truly amazing!
I really like this table, just I'm having one issue, I copy paste my usual portion of script to make use of active UVP back glass, however once the table loads I can see the back glass load (with lighting I believe) for a fraction of a second then it vanishes.....can't seem to get active back glass to work.
Any suggestions?
[edit]: If I enable b2s = 1. The back glass will work, but not before saying VPS script: "Object doesn't support this property or method"
Perhaps there needs to be the option to enable UVP backglass option as well like some of the other newer tables have started to do.
-Since I run my tables through hyperPIN front end, it bypasses this error and just loads the table, so it's acceptable, you just hear the error 'DING' as the table loads.
Use the db2s backglass instead of the uvp backglass (not really used much anymore). Just make sure the backglass is in the same folder as the table and that it is named exactly the same as the table. If you don't have db2s installed there is a great tutorial on here on setting it up. http://www.vpforums....showtopic=23364
hi, on launch table FS in vp 9.9.0 show error line 375 variable not defined flasher 23, what is the error
tanks
Awesome, I like this table, thanks!
Nicely done! I've always felt this table is under appreciated. IT isn't the most challenging, but the music and the DMD graphics are nicely integrated into the theme.
Nice one, but I cant use the upper flipper-pair, they dont move if I press the flipper buttons ?!

This is an awesome table!
I've been wanting to play it on VP since I've discovered that this table is real, and now my dream of it is true.
Thanks a whole banana bunch!
