Despite the fact that the original thread is very old meanwhile I have one question regarding this line.

It states DirectX9 support for VisualPinball, but the current version in SVN needs DirectX7 to build. I can't see any headers of DirectX9 included and it compiles fine with only the DirectX7 SDK installed.
