Replay Adjustment - Data East/Sega Version 3 and 3B

Here is the procedure for resetting replay levels for Data East/Sega version 3 and version 3B tables (up to, but not including, Baywatch).  Tables from Baywatch onwards used the service menu portal system, which will be discussed in another post.  These include the last tables Data East produced before being taken over by Sega:
 
1. Press 7 to enter the audits and adjustments menu
 
2. Continue to press 7 until you see Adj 1 Replay Manual in the DMD
 
3. The default replay boost is 10%. Using the 1 key, set this value between 1 and 50%, or to fixed for fixed replay levels. (NOTE: to set the level lower than what is currently shown, press 8 before pressing 1 to lower the percentage while pressing 1, or don’t press 8 and press 1 to go to 50 % then press 1 again to go to fixed, then press 1 again to start from 1% again)
 
4. Press 7 again to see replay start score (NOTE: if you had pressed 8 in the previous step, press 8 again before pressing 7).  If you had made any changes the previous step, pressing 7 will save that change before going to the replay score.
 
5. Press 1 to change the score by the following amounts:
       a. 100,000 points – Checkpoint, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman
       b. 1,000,000 points – Star Trek 25^th Anniversary, Hook, Lethal Weapon 3, Star Wars
       c. 10,000,000 points – Rocky and Bullwinkle, Jurassic Park, Last Action Hero, Tales From the Crypt, Tommy - Pinball Wizard, WWF Royal Rumble, Guns ‘N Roses, Maverick, Frankenstein
 
NOTE: to lower the score by the amount listed, press 8 before pressing 1
 
6. Press 7 to see number of replay levels
 
7. The default is 1 replay level.  Use the 1 key to change the number of replay levels (from 0 to 4 replay levels can be selected)
 
8. Press 7 to go to the first replay level
 
9. Repeat step 5 to step the first replay level
 
10. If you have selected more than 1 replay level in step 7, press 7 to go to the next replay level, then repeat step 5 to set the replay level.  Do this for each replay level selected.
 
11. Either continually press 7 to go through all the menu options to reset the table and save changes, or press F3.
